My first client said my price was 'insulting' and I rebuilt how I quote every job since
I pitched a logo and site package to a bakery in Gary for $600 back in March and she flat out told me the price made her feel like I didn't take her business seriously. I had been lowballing because I was scared of losing work, and that one line made me sit down and actually add up my hours, software, and revisions for the first time. I raised my quotes by about 3x after that and somehow get way less haggling, so I'm curious how you all figure out what to charge without just guessing?
