Just realized I spent 3 months fighting a cleaning problem that took 5 minutes to fix
I had this one client's kitchen floor that would always look streaky no matter what I used. Switched mops, tried different cleaners, even changed my water temperature. Nothing worked. I spent probably 20 hours total over three months trying to figure it out. Finally I just sat down on the floor and looked at it from her eye level. Turns out the problem wasn't the cleaning, it was the lighting from her pendant fixture making every little mark look like a streak. I swapped the bulb to a warmer one and the floor looked perfect. Has anyone else wasted a ton of time fixing the wrong thing because you didn't look at it from the right angle first?

Ha! Yeah I had a similar thing once with a window that never looked clean until I realized the frame was casting a shadow.
