I used to think my morning routine needed to be perfect before I could start work.
For years I'd get stuck trying to meditate, exercise, and journal for 90 minutes, and if one thing went wrong I'd feel like the whole day was ruined. After reading a post here about 'minimum viable mornings', I tried just doing a single 5-minute breathing exercise and then opening my laptop, and I've actually gotten more done by 9 AM for the past two weeks. What's the smallest thing you've changed that had a big impact on starting your day?

Stopped trying to drink a full glass of water first thing. Just take two big sips from the glass on my nightstand before I even get up. It sounds stupid, but that tiny win makes the next thing, like putting on pants, feel way less impossible.

Oh man, I feel that, and @sageellis is onto something. My big win was just making the bed, even if it's just pulling the comforter up.
