I tried to fix my own garage door spring for $50 and it snapped back at me

I mean, I watched a few videos and thought I could handle it, but the tension was way more than I expected. Anyone know a good pro in Cincinnati or should I just call the company I bought it from?

Garage door springs are NO JOKE. Call a pro, seriously. That's not a DIY project.

My neighbor tried to DIY his spring last year and put a hole in his garage wall. @verac40 is right, why do people even risk it?

Totally agree with this. My uncle tried to be cheap and ended up with a busted wrist, not worth it at all. There are some things you just don't mess with.
