Had a week where everything broke and it was honestly hilarious

Last Tuesday my washing machine started shaking so hard it walked across the laundry room floor. I ran after it like a cartoon character and almost tripped over my cat. Then Thursday the handle on my fridge just snapped off in my hand when I went to grab milk. By Saturday my car battery died in the grocery store parking lot and I had to ask a stranger for jumper cables. The weird part is I just laughed at each thing because what else can you do. I spent $340 total on repairs between a new battery and a fridge handle. Has anyone else had a streak of bad luck that turned into a funny story instead of a meltdown?

Jumped in here to say your washing machine pulling a runner is the funniest thing I've read all week lol. I had the same thing happen but mine walked right into the door frame and dented the drywall, at that point I was just laughing on the floor while my cat watched like I was an idiot. The fridge handle snapping off is rough though, that's the kind of bad luck that makes you wonder if someone put a curse on your house.

You're laughin' at the washing machine but honestly I think that fridge handle thing is a sign the universe is tryin' to tell you something... maybe you're supposed to move on to a better kitchen setup. I mean, stuff breaking like that ain't random bad luck, it's pretty clear the house is rejectin' the cheap parts you already got. Your cat watchin' you laugh at the drywall dent might be the smartest one in the room here. That washing machine waltzin' around is just a reminder to level the feet right next time instead of blamin' it on some curse.
