Wait, you actually tried THREE times? That's wild to me. Most people (myself included) give up after the first failed attempt and just call a repair guy or start shopping for a new one on their phone. I'm genuinely impressed by your stubbornness here. What was the third attempt, did you try something completely different or just the same thing over again?
