Can we talk about how nobody actually budgets for the follow-up cost of a project?
I finally realized my problem is I plan for the main thing and forget the stuff after it. Bought a $200 used smoker in June and blew another $85 on wood, a cover, and a thermometer before I even cooked one brisket, which is exactly why my projects keep stalling halfway. Does anyone have a rule for guessing the real total before starting, or do you just double the price and pray?
