The weirdest thing happened with our break room coffee maker
For six months straight, the coffee from the office pot tasted like burnt plastic, no joke. Then last Friday, our new office manager, Karen, quietly swapped out the old filter basket for a new one she bought at Target. The very next pot was smooth and normal, like a different machine. It turns out the old plastic basket had a tiny crack near the bottom that was slowly melting. Has anyone else had a simple fix like that solve a years-long office mystery?

Our office fridge had a weird sour smell for almost a year. We finally found a single, forgotten yogurt cup that had fallen behind the bottom drawer. The smell was gone the day we pulled the whole thing out to clean it.

Honestly, that reminds me of the weird buzzing from our conference room projector. Drove everyone nuts for months, people were ready to throw the whole thing out. The IT guy finally just wiggled the power cord where it plugged into the wall, and it clicked in fully. The plug was just a tiny bit loose the whole time. Felt so stupid.
