The one stat about office fridge cleaning that got me
I was reading this article on workplace hygiene the other day and it said the average office fridge gets cleaned out only twice a year. That blew my mind considering I eat lunch at my desk every day and there's stuff in there from before I even started this job... like 3 years ago. Someone's tupperware has a whole science experiment growing in it and nobody touches it. Has anyone else noticed their coworkers just pretend that smell isn't there?

Honestly that's a biohazard waiting to happen. Ngl the real issue is nobody wants to be the one who throws away someone else's stuff and then gets a passive aggressive email about it.

Throw the whole thing in the trash and let them know it was starting to smell. Someone left a half-eaten burrito in our break room once. Sat there for a week before I just tossed it. Got the passive aggressive email anyway. Can't win either way so just do what's clean.
