The label printer jam that took me 6 hours to clear on a Tuesday

Kept printing crooked at our warehouse, turned out a single staple from a packing slip was wedged in the feed roller, and I only figured it out after I'd disassembled the whole thing twice, has anyone else spent a whole shift fighting a machine that's basically a paperweight?

Did you check the feed rollers before tearing it apart, or was that option just way too boring?
