The janitor at my office changed my whole view on coffee cleanup
I used to just rinse my mug and leave it in the sink. One day the janitor, an older guy named Ray, pulled me aside and said 'that leftover coffee stains the basin and I have to scrub it twice as hard.' He showed me the brown ring that built up. Now I wipe my mug out with a paper towel first and it takes five extra seconds. Has anyone else had a janitor or cleaner give them a tip like that?

Oh man, Ray sounds like a legend. A quick wipe with a paper towel before rinsing makes a world of difference, I do the same thing at home with my travel mug. Saves everyone a headache down the line, right?
