That $60 label maker ruined my whole filing system

I bought one of those fancy bluetooth label makers for my desk job, thinking it would save time sorting paperwork. But the app kept losing connection on my phone, and the tape cartridges were $12 each. After 3 days of fighting it, I went back to handwritten sticky notes and a sharpie. Has anyone else wasted money on a tool that made your boring work harder instead of easier?
