Shoutout to the guy who watched me put labels on boxes backwards for 8 months

Honestly, I worked at a shipping warehouse in Tulsa for over a year doing order prep. I always put the shipping label on the bottom left corner of every box. One day a senior guy named Dave walks past, stops, and goes 'Why do you put the label where the forklift prongs go? That gets torn off half the time.' He showed me the top right corner rule they have posted on the break room wall. I walked by that sign a thousand times and never read it. Has anyone else been doing a simple thing the hard way for way too long?

just tape a sign" seems like a pretty solid low tech fix though. gotta disagree with you on this one @hannah240, sometimes the simple answer is the best one.
