Picked the cheap label maker over the fancy one at Staples

Went with the $20 Brother over the $80 Dymo because the replacement tape is half the price. Three months later and it's still going strong, labels haven't peeled off a single shelf.

Wait, did you have trouble with Dymo labels peeling off before? I had the same issue with a different brand where the tape started curling up after like a month. That's awesome that the Brother is holding up so well for only $20. Sometimes the cheaper stuff really does the job just as good if not better. I think a lot of those fancy label makers are overpriced for what they are.

Yeah you totally nailed it with "a lot of those fancy label makers are overpriced for what they are." Thats exactly how I feel. So I gotta ask - did you end up replacing the curling labels with a different brand, or did you just give up on label makers entirely for a while? I'm curious if you tried anything else before landing on a solution that actually worked for you.
