I finally snapped after the third printer jam this morning

Everyone in my office swears by the new 'smart' printers, but I think they're worse than the old ones. Ours is a brand new model they installed last week, and it's jammed 8 times already. This morning, it ate my 12 page report right before my 9 AM meeting. I had to manually feed each page, which took 15 minutes. Has anyone else's workplace upgraded to a printer that just makes the boring job worse?

Ugh, I gotta push back a little on this one. We switched to a new model at my place and it was a nightmare for the first two weeks, but after I found the right paper settings and we stopped using the cheapest paper, it's been way more reliable. What kind of paper are you feeding it?

Our old printer was the same until we switched to a different paper brand.

That paper brand thing is so true. My office wasted a ton of ink blaming the printer before someone tried different paper. It's wild how much that one thing matters.
