Dropped $40 on a tiny desk fan from Amazon and it's the only reason I haven't quit this cubicle job

A tiny desk fan for 40 bucks is not really a deal, sorry. Those little USB ones go for like 10 to 15 dollars and they move the same amount of air. What you're really paying for is the brand name and maybe a nicer stand or a quieter motor. The cheap ones can get loud and rattle after a few months so that part matters a bit. Still, 40 is a lot for something that only cools your face. Next time check the airflow rating, that's the number that actually tells you if it works. If it's the only thing keeping you sane at that desk though, then hey, money well spent lol.
