Dropped $40 on a label maker and it literally saved my sanity at work
I work at a hardware store and our back room was a total mess of unmarked bins and random boxes. Last month I got tired of hunting for stuff so I bought a cheap Brother label maker for $40. Now I've got everything organized by aisle number and category, and I can find a specific bolt size in under a minute. My coworkers thought I was being extra at first but now three of them asked to borrow it. Has anyone else found a small purchase that made a huge difference in your day to day?

Wait hold on, you're telling me bolt sizes are measured in diameter not length? That's wild, I've been living a lie this whole time thinking a 1/2 inch bolt was its length. So when I grab a 3/8 bolt from the bin labeled "3/8" that's talking about how thick the bolt is, not how long? My brain is honestly kinda melted right now.
