Just realized my grain direction was off by 90 degrees for the last 3 years

I was looking at a bound book I made back in 2021 and noticed the covers were warped way worse than a new one I just finished. Then it hit me, I had been cutting my book board with the grain running the wrong way the whole time. Now I check every sheet from Hollander's before I cut, saved me a ton of frustration. Anyone else miss this basic step for way too long?

Three years?! That's insane. I would've lost my mind way sooner.

Insane" is the right word for it @the_sandra. I used to think people who stayed that long were just too scared to leave. But then I read the whole story about how their partner kept promising things would get better every time they almost walked out. That cycle messes with your head. It's not about being weak. It's about someone slowly convincing you that you're the problem. Took me a while to realize that's how control works.
