The one guy who argued our book club was 'doing it wrong' for 45 minutes
Last month at our meeting for 'Project Hail Mary', a new guy spent the whole time telling us we should be assigning roles for each chapter like a play. Has anyone else had someone show up and try to completely rewrite how your club operates?

Did he also bring scripts and stage directions for everyone? That sounds EXHAUSTING, like he forgot books are meant to be read and discussed not performed like a one-man show.

Woah actually scripts and stage directions are totally normal for book clubs sometimes.
