Hot take: picking one book a month is killing our club, and I voted for it anyway
Three meetings back I pushed us to drop from two books a month to one so people could "go deeper," and now our turnout in Highland Park has dropped from 11 folks to 5. Turns out the fast readers just quit instead of slowing down, so we lost both the speed and the depth. Anyone here find a middle ground, like one main pick plus an optional short read?
