Went from guessing tube thickness by ear to a $22 ultrasonic gauge after a bad night in Gary
Hearing a pinhole leak start up at 2 AM on a 60 foot stack is a real quick way to stop trusting your ears, so I finally bought the gauge and found three spots I'd walked past for weeks, and I'm curious what other folks use to catch wall loss before it turns into a flood.

That 2 AM pinhole on a 60 foot stack sounds like a straight up nightmare, I'd have trust issues with my ears too after that. Finding three spots you'd walked past for weeks is rough but at least the gauge paid for itself right there.
