Spent 3 days trying to seat a gasket on a 1978 boiler that should've taken an hour. The old flange was warped just enough to be a nightmare.

Oh man, that sounds about right. Those old parts always have one secret flaw that eats your whole weekend. Hope you finally got it to behave.

I mean, I get what you're saying @angela40, but sometimes that secret flaw is the fun part for me. Idk, maybe it's just me but I like the puzzle.
