Saw a guy at the plant in Gary welding a boiler tube with one hand while holding his phone, what is your take on that?

I see this kind of thing everywhere now, not just at plants. Last week I watched a guy mow his whole front lawn one handed while scrolling with the other, and a cashier at the grocery store kept her phone propped up by the register the entire time I was in line. It's like we all decided that being fully present for anything is just too much to ask anymore. Welding a boiler tube is a whole different level though, because one slip and you're not just rude, you're hurt.
