Old timer told me torch work is dead, I told him he's wrong, now I'm second guessing
A retired boilermaker from the Local 74 hall said flux core has replaced all torch cutting on big jobs, but I've been on three vessels this month where oxy-acetylene was the only way to get through 2 inch chrome plate without wrecking the base metal, so which is it for you guys, are we keeping the torch or letting it go?
