My $80 deluxe card sleeves turned my gaming group against me
I dropped $80 on premium matte card sleeves for my Arkham Horror LCG collection. The shuffle feel was amazing but they were SO slippery that cards kept sliding off the table during a tense scenario. My buddy knocked over a whole stack and we spent 20 minutes sorting the encounter deck. Anyone else ever buy fancy accessories that actually made gameplay worse?

That slippery sleeve struggle is the worst, sorry that happened.

Oh man, did you try using a little bit of chalk or even some grip spray? That helped me out a ton when I was dealing with the same problem. I also started wiping the sleeve down with a dry cloth before each attempt and it made a big difference for me. A cleaner surface just grips way better in my experience. Hope you find something that works for you too.
