I thought legacy games were just a gimmick until my group played through Charterstone
We got the box for a weekend thing, and after opening the first envelope and changing the board forever, I was hooked. It felt like we were building something real together, not just playing a game. Has anyone else had a game change their mind like that?

Isn't it funny how we often write off new ideas before we even try them? Your story about Charterstone reminds me of how I used to avoid any game with a story, thinking it was just fluff. Then one completely changed my mind by making the story matter to the play. It shows how a good experience can shake up our fixed views, not just about games, but about lots of things. We get comfortable thinking our way is the only right way. Sometimes you just need that one hands-on proof to open you up.
