A cheap dice tray stopped my constant game of find the D4
I got tired of losing my tiny D4 dice every game night, so I grabbed a $3 felt-lined tray from a craft store. Now I roll everything in that tray and haven't lost a single die in 3 months. Has anyone else found a simple fix for a common tabletop problem?

...and it's honestly kind of funny how we'll spend a hundred bucks on dice but balk at a three dollar felt tray to keep them from rolling off the table. Your post got me thinking about this bigger pattern I see everywhere. People overcomplicate stuff trying to find the perfect solution when the cheap, simple fix was right in front of them the whole time. My buddy spent weeks looking at fancy dice towers and ended up using a cardboard box lid with a towel in it. Works just as good for zero dollars. It's like how everyone buys those expensive dice bags but a ziploc baggie does the same thing. Not saying the fancy stuff isn't nice, just that sometimes we overlook the easy answer.
