A welder told me my hammer handles were all wrong and after trying his 3 inch shorter grip I got way better control on tight curves
He said my handle length was putting my center of gravity too far back so I cut 3 inches off my favorite cross peen and now I hit my mark every time instead of bouncing off, anyone else get handle length advice that actually worked?

That "center of gravity" thing applies to way more than just hammers honestly.

yeah but nobody ever talks about how the same thing works with people too. like when youre in a group and someone just has that natural pull, everyone ends up looking at them or following their lead without really thinking about it. its not about being loud or bossy either, some people just have that "center" where everything kind of orbits around them. ive noticed it at job sites where you get a crew together and theres always that one guy whos not even in charge but the whole workflow shifts to match his pace. same thing with arguments too, the person who stays calm and grounded becomes the point everything else revolves around. most folks think its about physical objects only but its literally everywhere if you start paying attention.
