Why does nobody talk about the pilot episode cliffhanger trap?
I gave a new drama 22 minutes to hook me last Friday and bailed when the episode ended on a fake-out death, which made me realize I'll sit through a slow first hour but one cheap cliffhanger kills the whole binge, so how many episodes do you give a show before you call it?

One cheap cliffhanger kills the whole binge" is so real, I give a new show 3 episodes but if a pilot pulls a fake-out death I'm out after that one, no second chance.
