Went to a watch party in Austin and noticed everyone kept checking their phones
I visited a friend in Austin last weekend and we hit up a bar showing that new crime doc everyone's talking about. It was packed and the sound was great, but at least half the room had their phones out during the big reveal scene. Some were scrolling social media, others were texting, a few were even taking photos of the screen. It made me wonder if we've lost the ability to just sit and focus on one story for two hours without a second screen. Has anyone else noticed this at live watch events or is it just me?
