Totally changed my mind about baking shows being boring

I always thought those competition baking shows were just background noise while I did other stuff. But my friend made me watch that new pottery one on the streaming service, the gentle one with all the nice people. Now I'm three seasons deep and looking up local clay classes. Something about watching folks quietly make beautiful things just hooked me. It feels like the opposite of stress.

Honestly that "kinder, slower stuff" line hits hard. But it makes me wonder if we're just setting up a new kind of race. People post their quiet night in or their homemade bread like it's a trophy. Feels like the pressure is just shifting from go fast to be perfect at being slow. Ngl, sometimes it seems like another thing to fail at.
