That friend who called Breaking Bad overrated changed my mind

I used to defend Breaking Bad like it was my job, thought it was perfect. Then my buddy Mike said "the pacing in season 2 is terrible, it's just 8 episodes of Walt moping around." I rewatched it with that in mind and honestly he had a point. Still a great show but I don't put it on a pedestal anymore. Anyone else get hit with a criticism that actually made sense?

Admitted it to myself last week actually. My brother pointed out how many plot holes there are with the superlab and now I can't unsee it.

But like, is it really that big of a deal? I mean it's a TV show about a high school chemistry teacher who becomes a drug kingpin, not a documentary. There are gonna be holes if you look hard enough at any show. My buddy pointed out some stuff about Gus's operation too but I was just like okay, and? Still one of the best shows ever made if you ask me. We're probably overthinking this whole thing honestly.
