Rant: that customer who fought me over a $40 diagnostic fee
I work at a small repair shop in Cleveland and this dude came in with a TV that wouldn't turn on. I quoted him the standard $40 diagnostic fee, which I even told him goes toward the repair if he says yes. He flipped out, said I was ripping him off, and walked out. Then he came back two hours later and paid it after his buddy told him that's normal. Has anyone else had customers act like basic shop fees are a personal attack?
