My brother-in-law said he only watches shows with his wife now, no solo binges. It made me realize I watch everything alone.

My old roommate and I had a strict schedule for watching our show, every Tuesday at 8. We missed two episodes because his laundry always ran late. Now I just watch when I feel like it, usually with a bag of those weird pickle flavored chips.

My wife and I tried that for a whole season of a baking show. We spent more time arguing about when to watch than actually enjoying it. Solo viewing means you control the remote and the snack breaks. Sometimes doing your own thing is just more peaceful, you know?
