My barber in Austin told me to watch 'The Bear' because of the kitchen chaos
I was getting a haircut last month and he said the stress in that show's kitchen felt exactly like his first job at a diner in Houston. He described a scene where the ticket machine just keeps printing and it gave me real anxiety. Has anyone else had a show recommended because it matched someone's old job that perfectly?

Ever have a friend try to make you watch a show because it's "so real" for their old line of work? My cousin is a former teacher and she did that with Abbott Elementary. She said the episode about the broken copy machine was a perfect snapshot of her Tuesday mornings. It's cool when a show gets the small details right, makes you trust the whole story more.
