Just realized the difference between my first watch of Breaking Bad and my rewatch 8 years later
First time I binged it I was glued to the screen for the action and suspense, you know? But last month I started it again and I noticed SO many little character moments I totally missed before. Like how Walt's ego shows up in tiny facial expressions way earlier than I remembered. Took me until season 3 on the second go to catch this one look he gives Jesse that basically tells the whole story. Anyone else find a show hits completely different on a rewatch after enough time has passed?

Maybe it's just me but I don't think Breaking Bad is that deep where you gotta catch every little look. It's a good show for sure but I mean, it's still a guy cooking meth and making bad decisions. Not like some hidden message show or whatever.

That one look Walt gives Jesse in season 3 is the perfect example, @lily_stone76, and it's wild how noticing those tiny details changes the whole story. It's kind of like how you don't really see the patterns in your own life until you take a step back and look at the big picture. You start catching the small stuff that was always there but you were too caught up in the action to see, you know?
