I used to skip the intro on every show, but now I never do

About 6 months ago, I started noticing that the intro music for 'Severance' was getting stuck in my head. I realized I was missing out on a mood-setter by always hitting 'skip intro'. Now I watch them all, and it totally changes how I feel going into an episode, especially for slower-burn stuff. It's like a little ritual that gets me in the zone. Anyone else find that intros have gotten way better lately, or is it just me?

Bro, same @tessac25! I used to be a skip addict too, but now I'm that person who sits through the entire Stranger Things synth intro like it's a sacred ritual. It's honestly wild how skipping an intro used to save like 90 seconds but now I feel like I'm missing the whole appetizer before the main course. The Severance intro is a banger though, that tune is now permanently stuck in my brain.

Oh man, you just made me realize I've been doing the same thing. I used to skip so fast my thumb would ache. Now I feel like I'm missing part of the show if I don't watch the intro. It's like the opening credits are a mini episode that sets the whole vibe. My friends think I'm nuts for sitting through the 'Succession' piano bit every single time. But you're right, it just puts you in the right headspace.

What if the intro is the only part the creators truly control?

Totally agree with @barnes.shane, the intro is the part the creators actually put all their heart into.
