Can we talk about the $200 box set that turned into a three week marathon

I bought the complete run of a 90s drama on DVD last month for 200 bucks thinking I'd watch a few episodes a week, but now I'm 14 seasons in and sleep is just a rumor, has anyone else had a physical purchase backfire like that?
