Binging a space show sparked my interest in telescopes

I just finished watching this amazing series about astronauts. It was so gripping that I watched it all in one weekend. Now I've started learning about planets and stars. I even bought a small telescope to check out the moon. It's crazy how a TV show can open up a whole new hobby.

Classic move from couch astronaut to actual stargazer. Ngl, I did the same thing after watching a documentary and now my wallet hates me. Those beginner telescopes are a gateway drug to wanting a giant one that costs as much as a car. Honestly, it's a slippery slope from Netflix to bankrupting yourself on space gear. But hey, at least you're looking up instead of just zoning out.
