Warning: That polite customer who asked me about my day was casing our register
Working the evening shift at a 7-Eleven in Tulsa, I had this real friendly guy chit chat with me for 5 minutes about my favorite candy bars while I rang him up. Next morning the manager found the safe room door pried open and $1,200 gone, and the camera showed the same guy coming back at 3 AM when nobody was on duty. Anyone else had a customer use small talk to scope out your store's routine?

Yo, that is seriously messed up. So sorry that happened to you, people can be so sneaky and awful. Hope they catch the guy.

Wait, he actually recorded her without her knowing? That is next level creepy, I can't even imagine finding that out. How long was he even doing that, like months or years? The fact that she just found that folder on his computer is so unsettling, like she just stumbled onto something she never expected. I mean, people are way too comfortable thinking they can just get away with stuff like that these days. Hope that guy gets what's coming to him honestly.
