The card reader at register 3 died mid rush on a Friday and I found a fix that takes 10 seconds
When our Verifone froze up during the 6pm dinner crowd last Friday I held the green button and the clear button together for five seconds to force a soft reset instead of unplugging the whole thing and waiting two minutes for it to boot back up, and I'm wondering if that combo works on other terminals or if I just got lucky with this model.
