That lady who asked me to scan her coupon 8 times before she believed it
I work checkout at a grocery store in Dayton, nothing fancy. Had this older woman come through my line last Tuesday with a cart full of stuff. She hands me a coupon for $1.50 off some laundry detergent. I scan it, it beeps and shows the discount on the screen. She stares at the screen for like 10 seconds and goes "are you sure it took?" I said yes maam it shows right here. She says "scan it again just to be sure." So I scan it again, same thing. She made me scan it a total of 8 times before she finally believed it worked. Each time she watched the screen and pointed at it. The line behind her got real quiet after the third scan. Has anyone else had customers that just dont trust the register at all?
