Started writing down every bad review at our cafe for a month and the pattern surprised me
I work the morning shift at a cafe in Portland and we get a decent amount of one star reviews. For 30 days I copied every complaint into a notebook, mostly just to vent. Turned out 19 of the 26 bad reviews mentioned the wait, not the food or the prices. So we moved one person off the register and onto the espresso machine during the 7 to 9 rush and the wait complaints basically stopped. Anybody else track their complaints like this, or am I just a nerd with a notebook?
