Just realized I've been opening boxes wrong for 8 years
Last Tuesday my coworker Greg showed me how to use a box cutter to break the tape on boxes without actually cutting into the cardboard. I've been slicing the whole box open for 8 years and never thought twice about it. Now the boxes can be reused for returns or storage. Has anyone else had a basic job skill suddenly click way later than it should have?

My friend learned how to fold a fitted sheet at age 30 from a YouTube video.

You mention your friend learned at 30... did they actually watch one of those tutorials or did they just pretend to figure it out? I swear half the people I know claim they can fold a fitted sheet but I've never seen proof... the corners always come out looking like a lumpy potato. So was it a real success story or more like "close enough" and they just gave up?
