I dropped $130 on a "professional" pastry bag set and it sucks

Everyone in the bakery subreddit raves about those stainless steel pastry bags with the silicone tips. I bought a set from a known brand last month to use at the coffee shop where I do pastry prep. First day the tip fell off mid-pipe and I had buttercream all over my apron and the tray. The screw mechanism just won't hold tight no matter what. I actually went back to my old $8 plastic bags and metal tips from the restaurant supply store. Has anyone else had these fancy kits fail on them too?

Dropped $400 on this fancy ratchet set and my forearms are still somehow noodles. Guess I'm paying for the warranty not the muscles, lmao.
