Had the worst Saturday morning rush of my whole 3 years at the coffee shop
Last Saturday we got hit with a line out the door by 7 AM. We were short one barista because she called in sick, and our cold brew tap decided to break right as orders started piling up. I had to hand-pour cold brew for like 20 tickets while also trying to steam milk for lattes. By 9 AM we were out of vanilla syrup and a customer yelled at me over the price of an extra shot. We sold 140 drinks in 3 hours, which is way above our normal. Has anyone else had a shift where everything just broke at once?

Cold brew tap died on me during a Pride brunch once. 60 drinks in an hour and a half, total nightmare.

OH MAN that is a NIGHTMARE. I feel your pain so hard. I was running a booth at a local music festival last summer and my nitro cold brew keg ran out of gas right at the busiest point. I had a line of like 20 people all waiting for their iced lattes and I had to hand pour every single one from a growler. It was pure chaos and my arms were SO tired. People were nice about it but I was sweating bullets trying to keep up. You just never forget a moment like that, it's burned into your brain forever.
