Warning: I just blew $300 on a 'pro' clipper that overheats in 20 minutes
I bought the 'Titan Turbo' clippers online last month because the ads said they were the best for thick hair and long sessions. I was excited to try them on a busy Saturday. By my third client, the motor was so hot I could barely hold them, and they started pulling hair instead of cutting. I had to switch back to my old pair mid-cut, which was super awkward. The company won't give me a refund because I used them, so I'm out the full $300. On one hand, maybe I just got a bad unit, but on the other, maybe these fancy new models just aren't built for real shop use. Has anyone else had a clipper completely fail under normal work pressure? What's your go-to brand that actually lasts?

My buddy's new clippers did the same thing last summer.

Sounds like a real quality product there. Must be a feature, not a bug.

Man I swear every new gadget these days has some sort of weird first month curse. My own clippers died on me right when I needed them most before a family barbecue last year. Had to borrow my neighbor's beard trimmer and ended up looking like a patchy mess. Guess we all learn the hard way not to trust new stuff right out of the box. At least your buddy found out before he was halfway through his own haircut like I did.
