The comeback of the disconnected undercut in my shop
Three years ago, I did maybe one a month at my old spot in Tempe. Last month, I did three in a single week, all for guys in their 30s. It's not just a skin fade anymore, they're asking for that hard, defined line from the 2010s. Anyone else seeing this specific style return, or is it just my chair?

Whoa, that's a huge jump from one a month. Are these guys bringing in pictures, or are they just describing it? I'm curious if there's a specific show or something making it popular again with that age group.

roset34 makes a good point about shows driving trends. I've seen a bunch of teens at the mall with those haircuts lately, and they're definitely showing barbers pictures from their phones. It seems like a mix of old movie clips on TikTok and some new anime style.

My buddy's barber said the same thing... he had a guy come in last week with a picture from some old video game cutscene. Emma72 is right, it's all over TikTok now.
