Switched from a cheap comb to a Japanese steel one for fades
I was using a $3 plastic comb from the supply store for years, but the teeth kept bending on thick hair. Picked up a $25 Feather comb last month and the difference in control, especially on a 2 to 1 fade, is night and day. What's your go-to comb for keeping those lines crisp?

Oh man, a Feather comb for fades? That's a solid comb, but it's actually stainless steel, not carbon steel. They're great because they don't bend and the teeth are cut super precise. I've found that a good old Andis fine-tooth comb gives me even better control for those really tight lines, though. What guard system are you using with it?

Yeah, Andis combs are unbeatable for control.

So you're using the Feather for the 2 to 1 transition. Does the spacing on the teeth feel perfect for that, or do you find yourself reaching for a different comb when you get to the really skin-tight zero line at the bottom? I'm trying to picture the workflow.
