Spent 5 hours on a 20 minute fade because of one lazy cowlick on a kid from Dayton
Kid came in with a part that looked simple but his hair grew sideways at the crown and kept popping up no matter how many times I went back over it. I probably passed the clippers over that one spot 30 times trying to blend it, and it still looked off until I switched to a razor and did it freehand. Took me 5 hours total between him and the two guys waiting, way past my usual 20 minutes for a fade. Any of you got a trick for cowlicks that fight back, or do you just tell the client to embrace it?

That sideways crown growth in Dayton changed my mind on fighting cowlicks.
